8 GREAT ADVENTURES THIS SUMMER IN VIRGINIA BEACH!!!

Back by popular demand, and expanded to eight nights for 2011, the Family Great Adventure Series is all about Discovery and Entertainment at the Virginia Beach oceanfront! 

On select nights during the season, families can take part in an interactive adventure that leads them to various sites along the boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue to unravel a mystery.  During each adventure, participants can dress up as characters, use brain and brawn to win the contest at hand, and settle into the sand for a family-friendly movie shown on a giant inflatable screen on the beach!

All events are free and open to the public.  Each night is themed to the particular movie being shown!

Friday, June 3 (6pm-10pm)  - Hang Ten Happening/Movie Surf's Up (Rated PG)   

Thursday, June 23 (6pm-10pm)  - The Game is On!/Movie Jumanji (Rated PG)

Thursday, June 30 (6pm-10pm)  - Alien Invasion on the Beach/Movie Monsters vs Aliens (Rated PG)

Thursday, July 14 (6pm-10pm)  - Christmas in July/Movie Elf (Rated PG)

Thursday, August 4 (6pm-10pm)  - Silly Safari/Movie Tarzan (Rated G)

Thursday, August 18 (6pm-10pm)  - Boardwalk 500/Movie Cars (Rated G)

Friday, September 9 (6pm-10pm)  - Paws on Parade/Movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua (Rated PG)
