The Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek is the major operating base for the Amphibious Forces in the United States Navy's Atlantic Fleet. Outlying facilities include 350 acres (1.4 km) located just north of Fleet Training Center Dam Neck in Virginia Beach, VA.
nnel are asked to check in at the Regional Housing Referral Office in Norfolk. Applicable housing paperwork can be completed, and the candidate will be put on the waiting list. For off-post housing, the housing office keeps a list of available properties as well as being able to help with applicable BAH rates. Prior to starting an independent housing search, personnel are asked to check with the housing office prior to signing a lease. Lease need to include a military clause, so no penalties apply if the individual is unable to complete the 6-12 month lease. Temporary lodging is available in three separate areas the Visitors Quarters, the Navy Lodge and in local hotels.
